January 7, 2009 ~ Awakening

This week at POW! was amazing, our attendence doubled in one week! Praise the Lord!
It was exciting to see new faces and to see God move in these people and see Him speak through them!!

What we felt God was speaking this week...
I'm bringing freedom, look to me and I'll set you free. I'm bringing unity in the spirit, flowing like oil from the top to the bottom.
I'm unleashing things in the spirit, releasing gifts and callings, releasing the key to revival.

December 29, 2009 ~ In the quiet of His presence/Holy is the Lord

The morning of POW! I was listening to a song and I felt like I was supposed to sing/play it for the group, I felt like the Lord just wanted us to soak in His love. The song was "My Beloved" by Kari Jobe.

What we felt God was speaking this week...
He wants us to really get to know Him, His love, His spirit. He wants us to really tap in, rely on Him, really let Him in and receive what He has for us.
He wants to show us the true power of worship.

Prophetic Worship

Welcome!

Let me just take a minute and introduce this blog.
About a year ago a friend and I began talking about doing a prophetic worship night and we were hoping our church would do a corporate one, but due to a location issue that was not possible at the present. After time and a lot of talking, we decided that we wanted to start it now. Talking to other people we found that we were not the only ones who had been longing for a prophetic worship night!
So, we started a weekly prophetic worship and prayer night in my home and gave it a name, POW! : Power Of Worship

This blog is created to journal our intimate moments with the Lord and to share it with others!

I read this in an Ezine about prophetic worship. -"Prophetic is nothing more than flowing with divinely inspired revelation from heaven. A dependency on the Lord is created in prophetic worship because it leans on the Holy Spirit to guide the worship time, rather than a planned operation during the worship time. Tapping into God is nothing more than taking the time to hear God's voice, hear the melodies from heaven, and allow the Holy Spirit to flow within us."

I love that!
If we can listen closely to the Lord speaking, if we can wait for Him to lead us, how much more will we be walking in His fullness?
I'm so excited about this new thing, I believe, if we can wait on Him to lead us, He will do something amazing in our lives and the lives of others!
